GBR Technology Limited are a formulator and manufacturer of the finest quality wetting agents, biostimulants, liquid nutrients and spray aids for managed sports and amenity turf. From our production site and laboratory on the Hampshire/Berkshire border our products are supplied to customers around the world.
In addition to our to our manufacturing capability, we supply a wide range of products from carefully selected partners including fertilisers, grass seeds, plant protection products, lubricants, and soil amendments.
Our highly knowledgeable technical sales staff are based across the UK to provide customer support and advice both commercial and technical. Our products also go to market via supported distributors.
We are well equipped to advise on the best treatment programmes for your turf including arranging soil and leaf analysis.
GBR Technology undertake contract manufacturing for companies worldwide. Services include manufacturing, design of formulations and assistance with packaging and label design.

I used Hydrozone for the past year on greens and approach areas at Royal Aberdeen GC.
The product worked very well for us, with the main benefit being how much quicker we dried out after heavy rainfall. Greens and approaches became firmer and drier much quicker than in previous years and out clegg hammer readings remained in target even after heavy downpours. We had very even moisture cover over the green area with no dry patch visible and a marked reduction in fairy ring activity. I am very pleased with the results we have had and I will continue to use it again in the future.

I used Aquazone Wetting Agent Pellets this year as I have had dry patch but do not spray a monthly wetting agent through the summer.
The difference between hand watering with and without a pellet is massive. I intend to continue to use hand watering with Aquazone Pellets. Also GBR's spreadable iron with 12% Fe gives a really nice green-up and hardening off against disease - the product is easy to use and has uniform granule size.

We've been using Hydrozone on greens at Farnham now since 2011.
Hydrozone has given us very good results, performing at least as well as previous products we have used. Hydrozone is an important part of our water management programme making the best use of our irrigation system. We have also been a long term user of Forti-Fe and find this product gives the green-up we desire along with a bit of N to tickle the greens along through the winter.

We have been using Aquazone wetting agent on our tees and fairways over the last 6 years.
We apply the Aquazone at 50lts a hectare twice a year and it definitely keeps the dry patch away. We also use Influx on some isolated areas in extremely dry occasions if these areas become hydrophobic.

I started using GBR products last year and have been very pleased with the results.
The results I have found since using GBR soluble straights and the advice given has been hugely beneficial. Pete is extremely knowledgeable and explains how the products work in conjunction with biostimulants such as seaweed and fulvic acid. Very little disease in the winter and all my greens looking good and performing well. I have been using mainly soluble straights since the middle of last year and I have seen steady and consistent improvements in all my greens.

Forti-Fe gives a fantastic vibrant green up to our turf all year round.
Due to its trace element package and readily available nutrition the plant health is better throughout the winter too. It hardens the turf so disease resistance is improved. I also tank mix it with other products which is another great benefit.

We have dramatically reduced our fungicide use.
We utilise a number of products including granular fertilisers, soluble straights, seaweed, molasses and wetting agents. The cost saving compared to previous suppliers has allowed us to improve our fairways, while also making great strides in encouraging perennial grasses on our putting surfaces.

Endew Plus has also given us good results, lasting around 2-3 weeks, reducing leaf wetness and therefore disease pressure.
Hydrozone has played a key role in our moisture management on greens, while using Aquazone on tee’s and fairways has helped to keep localised dry patch at bay. We also use Forti-Fe to provide a colour up and soluble seaweed powder to support plant health.

We’ve been using Formulation 42 at Craigielaw since April 2021 and have been really impressed with the results.
It’s given great uniformity across the greens with surfaces being kept moist but firm with the bulk of the moisture being held in the rootzone. Even in the hottest days over the summer the turf has remained stress free. We will continue to use it over the winter and throughout 2022.

The difference was obvious and we knew it was a great product.
Endew Plus has made a significant difference to our greens through the autumn and winter period. When we initially started using it, we left half the chipping green untreated as a control. Endew Plus helps us maintain the highest possible condition of the turf throughout the autumn and winter. Combined with our other practices, our greens are more resistant to disease, healthy and have reduced morning dew to ensure a drier cut and less mess on the surfaces.
